Currently Hiring for: Litigation Associate (Personal Injury)
Wofsey Rosen Kweskin & Kuriansky is a mid-size, full-service law firm based in Stamford, CT with a history of professional excellence dating back to its founding in 1915. We are seeking a junior to mid-level associate with one to five years of litigation experience, and an interest in plaintiffs’-side personal injury work, to join our practice.
The firm’s personal injury group consists of a dedicated team of attorneys and paralegals committed to protecting the rights of clients who have suffered serious physical or psychological injuries. Our personal injury practice is diverse, and includes representation of individuals who have suffered life-altering injuries, and families/legal representatives of individuals suffering fatal injuries, in construction accidents, motor vehicle crashes, truck and tractor-trailer crashes, sailboat, and jet-ski crashes. We also represent clients and/or their legal representatives when they have been injured by defective and dangerous products, and/or defective and dangerous premises. Through our representation, we have been successful in providing for our clients’ monetary and human losses. In many cases, we also have been able to provide for changes in the way defendants conduct their behavior, thereby providing for a safer society.
In addition to personal injury litigation, the firm’s litigators handle a wide variety of matters in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution forums, on behalf of large and small businesses, banks, nonprofits, municipalities, and individuals. The areas of litigation that we deal with include personal injury as well as commercial disputes, real estate and construction disputes, landlord-tenant law, family law, employment law, land use, and civil rights.
