Matthew R. Pascale ASSOCIATE

Matthew R. Pascale joined Wofsey Rosen in 2026 and focuses his practice on civil litigation, including personal injury and commercial matters, as well as land use and transactional work. Most recently before joining Wofsey Rosen, Matthew was an associate for a regional law firm where he focused primarily on medical malpractice defense. Prior to that Matthew was a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Indiana, where he served in the Administrative and Regulatory Enforcement Litigation Section. As a Deputy AG, he handled a wide variety of administrative and regulatory matters on behalf of the State of Indiana and its various state agencies. Prior to attending law school, Matthew was a litigation legal assistant at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in NYC, where he primarily assisted on cases involving high-profile government regulatory and white-collar fraud investigations.

Matthew received his undergraduate degrees in Government & Legal Studies (B.A.), and History (B.A.) from Bowdoin College in 2018. At Bowdoin, he was a two-sport athlete, playing varsity football (where he was 2x NESCAC All-Academic Team Selection) and club rugby. He received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2023. While in law school, Matthew was a member of the Journal of Law, Technology & Policy, where he served as Student Notes Editor. His Note on the emerging new area of “space law,” titled, Space, the Final Frontier: Navigating the Complexities of Commercial Space Flight, Resource Extraction, and Colonization, was selected for publication in the Journal and has been increasingly cited to and discussed in legal academia.

He is admitted to practice in Indiana, Connecticut, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Matthew is also pending admission to the New York bar.
